Sawyerville sorting and baling centre
03 — Sorting Centre & Baling

From pickup to resale — the complete cycle

Our sorting centre in Sawyerville transforms collected materials into resources ready for resale. We carry out manual and mechanical sorting of cardboard, various plastic resins and other recyclables.

Once sorted and compacted, materials are baled and sold directly to certified recyclers and secondary material brokers. This short circuit reduces transport costs and ensures better returns across the supply chain.

Agricultural plastic collection from Eastern Townships farms
04 — Agricultural Plastic Management

Farm plastic recovery and recycling

Agricultural plastics present a unique challenge: silage film, grain bags, crop covers and protective films accumulate on farms and cannot be disposed of through conventional channels.

S.D. Taylor Transport offers a collection and recovery program for these plastics from agricultural producers in our territory. Plastics are collected, cleaned and directed to specialized recycling streams.
